The outstanding natural heat-regulating properties of finest merino-wool makes FLYFEL

This nuno felt scarf is made from
organza 2,8, which has been dyed with black silk colour, using a
traditional shibori-technique. The dyed silk is then felted onto natural white FLYFEL
®-web with its entire surface. At both ends the protruding merino-wool is cut into narrow fringes after felting.
Here you can see a picture of the same scarf before it has been felted.
This elegant nuno felt scarf is an impressive example of the almost limitless design possibilities with FLYFEL
®-web. For this sample white
FLYFEL®-web has been overlaid with small pieces of coloured pongee, and the edges are invisibly framed with gossamery cut stripes of black

Zoom in!
In the highest resolution you will be able to see details not visible to the naked eye. For this example a hibiscus flower motive has been cut out of natural white FLYFEL
®-web and is felted on
apricot coloured pongee 05. The brilliant silk that shimmers through contrasts beautifully to the rather dull wool surface. Additionally fused on rhinestones make for a real eye-catcher.
