This plain woven scarf from pure linen is absolutely gorgeous! It can easily be felted in combination with FLYFEL®-web and FLYFEL®-tops,
and can be dyed effortlessly with dyes suited for plant fibres. Slim
selvedges are running lengthwise, and the short sides are artfully
swivelled and knotted into fringes. You can iron the scarf, which will
give it a typically cool, but nobly crinkled linen feel. Alternatively
it can be dried in a laundry dryer to create a voluminous crushed
crinkle-scarf.

This example was dyed using the
traditional shibori-technique. After having been dyed it was felted on black FLYFEL
®-web with its entire surface. Thereby the linen scarf receives an interesting and new texture. Leaving out a few areas when felting makes for an exiting contrast!

Gestaltungsbeispiel.
®-tops in verschiedenen Farben befilzt.
