Due to multiple requests, we added one of the highly demanded double-layer-fabrics with a 140cm width to the IDEEN.com selection. This fabric brings photographers to despair but here it is the main attraction: the wonderful moiré effect, which results from two super fine fabrics that overlap. The discreet square connection points make it seem as if the two fabrics are sewn together. But in reality the connection is created during the weaving process. The top layer is pure silk, the bottom layer super fine cotton; they cross each other on the connection points, which leads to wonderful color effects especially when using the 2 color dye technique.
