This net-like, pure silk tulle is part of the knitware and is knitted flatly on a chain knitter. Similar to jersey but mostly runproof. The knittings do not lay right next to eachother, like in other knitted material, but instead on top of eachother. Crosswise elastic, for tight fitting patterns and a high wearing comfort.

The stable selvage on both sides can wonderfully be integrated as a design element or as a hem.

This exclusive quality is made out of high quality filament silk yarns in an experienced Chinese weaving mill. It is available in two different width as well as in black.

Dieser netzartige, reinseidene Tüll zählt zu den Maschenwaren und wurde auf einer Kettenwirkmaschine flach gewirkt. Ähnlich einem gestrickten Jersey, jedoch weitgehend laufmaschenfest. Die Maschen liegen nicht, wie bei Strickwaren, neben- sondern übereinander.
Querelastisch, für körpernahe Schnitte und hohen Tragekomfort.

Die stabilen Webkanten auf beiden Seiten lassen sich wunderbar als Design-Elemente oder Saumabschlüsse integrieren.

Wir lassen diese exclusive Qualität in einer erfahrenen chinesischen Weberei aus höchstwertigen Haspelseidengarnen in zwei verschiedenen Breiten und in schwarz herstellen.

Here, we introduce to you a Nuno-felt shirt out of white knitted tulle, natural white FLYFEL®-tops and high-gloss white mulberry silk rovings.
This is how it works:
The cut pieces of the shirt were first roughly traced onto the tulle (add some extra for shrinkage). It is very important to pay attention to the straight grain; the tulle is crosswise elastic!
The later to be cut areas are now thinly covered with finely pulled FLYFEL^®-tops. On top of that, thin strands of FLYFEL®-sliver are placed. Information about using silk slivers can be found here in the IDEEN.com-Journal.

Wonderful fringes can be shaped wonderfully by hand, if the merino wool overlaps a little at the hem and arm areas.

Now felt with your favorite felting technique. A couple ideas can be found in the IDEEN.com-Journal.

Only after felting and complete drying, the single pattern pieces are cut out and sewn together.

If the sleeves, as with this shirt, accidentally got a little too long, the length can easily be turned into a wonderful design element:

The sleeves are pushed up and held with a narrow, elastic ribbon, made out of filament silk- jersey. This is wrapped around the arm in any spot.

Of course the great silk tulle can also be painted or dyed!
Despite the high transparency, the colors appear especially strong and bright.

This asymmetric seeming shirt consists of half black, half blue dyed tulle. The front is made out of mirror-inverted cut pieces, the back piece is made out of two identical layers of both colors.

New color nuances and a moiré effect is created when wearing, due to the color overlapping. Here, it shows very clearly how transparent one layer of tulle is and how opaque two layers are.
